Galway manager Pádraic Joyce wants a tweak to football's new rules that will see teams forced to keep three players in the opposition half in black and red card scenarios.
He was speaking in the wake of Sunday's Allianz League Division 1 draw against Tyrone and surveying the new landscape of rules in football, put the microscope over the issue of teams not having to keep as many players forward when shorn of players for black or red card offences.
"The game was stopped there because Tyrone had a black card and two men were called up top.
"But they're allowed two men (with) the black card in. I think that one has to change definitely, when someone gets a black card.
"We got the benefit of it last week against Donegal. We had a red and a black and we only had to keep one man up.
"If you've to keep three up top, you have less men defending. I think that rule needs to change.
"The goalkeeper one is another contentious one that might change but definitely the black card one - a team gets down to black, so you need to still keep three up top. There's more jeopardy with three up there."
On the overall performance across the league, Joyce said Galway were in a "decent place" after five unbeaten games, although he was more satisfied with individual showings - including Shane Walsh - rather than the collective one against Tyrone.
"(Walsh) played well in fairness to him, he did ok. He kicked the penalty and the frees," he said.
"Look, a lot of individual lads were very good but collectively we probably weren't at the pace of the game. Tyrone will be disappointed going up the road with a point the way they played."
