FULL LEADERBOARD

Starting at the 10th in Palm Beach Gardens, Lowry was level par through his opening nine holes before picking up shots at the third, sixth and seventh for a three-under 68.

Compatriot Seamus Power's tournament has come to an end however, a second round 72 meaning the Waterford man finished on one-under par and outside the cut.

Knapp is the man to catch at the top of the standings. He followed his opening-round 59 with a far more modest, one -under-par 70 but birdied his final hole to take a one-stroke lead over Frenchman Matthieu Pavon (64).

On Thursday, Knapp became the 15th player in PGA Tour history to shoot a round below 60.

Knapp's second round started on the back nine at PGA National Resort's Champion course, and after a birdie and a bogey, he later made consecutive birdies at the third and fourth. However he found water off the fourth tee that led to a messy double-bogey

He wrapped up by holing a 17-foot birdie putt at the par-4 ninth, his ball curling into the cup from the left side.
