Turkey bounced back from their defeat to the Republic of Ireland in Tallaght last week by beating Greece 1-0 in Istanbul and moving above the Girls in Green in the UEFA Women's Nations League Group B2 table.
A goal from Elif Keskin on 33 minutes was enough to see Turkey pip the Greeks at the Esenler Stadium and pick up their first points of the campaign.
As a result they move up to second in the group and above Ireland on goal difference following a heavy 4-0 defeat for Carla Ward's side against leaders Slovenia in Koper.
Greece prop up the group after a second defeat from two and they will be Ireland's next opponents in a double-header in April.
Ireland will be away in Heraklion on 4 April, before hosting the side currently ranked 58th in the world at Tallaght Stadium four days later.

Elsewhere, a late brace by captain Simone Magill inspired Northern Ireland to a dramatic 3-2 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tanya Oxtoby's team were set to lose until Magill levelled in the 89th minute at Inver Park.
Magill was not finished there, though, and popped up three minutes later to help Northern Ireland claim an excellent victory from their second fixture in Group B1.
After a 2-0 loss away to Poland on Friday, Oxtoby's side were eager to bounce back and made the perfect start after 15 minutes.
Lauren Wade produced a dangerous cross from a corner and Brenna McPartlan headed home from close range for her first international goal.
It remained 1-0 until half-time, but Bosnia and Herzegovina turned the tables after the break with two goals in three minutes.
Emina Ekic levelled within a minute of the resumption before Marija Milinkovic made it 2-1 in the 49th minute with a superb strike from range.
Northern Ireland needed inspiration and captain Magill provided it a minute from time when she stole in to head the leveller from Ellie Mason's long ball.
The same duo produced a repeat in the second minute of stoppage-time when Magill chested down Mason's pass and stroked home the winner to spark wild celebrations in Larne.
Germany's Linda Dallmann came off the bench to score one goal and make another as her side hammered neighbours Austria 4-1 to move top of Group A1, with group rivals the Netherlands coming from behind to win 2-1 away to Scotland.
The Germans, who drew 2-2 in their first game against the Dutch, bounced back after conceding a goal in the third minute, with Laura Freigang levelling six minutes before the break.
Dallmann entered the fray at half-time and scored 10 minutes later before teeing up Giovanna Hoffmann for the third, with Vivien Endemann rounding out the scoring in the 79th minute.
Germany top the group after two games, with the Dutch in second place, also on four points, after scoring two second-half goals in Glasgow. Austria are third on three points, with Scotland bottom without a point.
Norway's Elisabeth Terland scored a minute after coming on as they beat Switzerland 2-1 in Group A2, with Sydney Scherternlieb equalising for the Swiss in the 83rd minute before Caroline Graham Hansen struck the winner four minutes later.
Norway have three points and Switzerland one, while France are top with six after a 3-2 home win over Iceland.
In Group A4, visitors Sweden were held to a 1-1 draw by a battling Wales side, while Denmark beat Italy 3-1 away.
Sweden are top on four points, with Denmark second and Italy in third also on three points.
