Amber Barrett will make her first start for the Republic of Ireland in seven months in this evening's Nations League clash against Slovenia.
Barrett came off the bench towards the end of Friday’s 1-0 defeat of Turkey. The Donegal native’s last start came against Sweden at Aviva Stadium in May 2024.
She gets the nod from the off in place of Marissa Sheva as new head coach Carla Ward looks to make it two wins out of two.
