Mark Allen has been beaten in his second-round match with David Lilley at the World Open in Yushan, China.
'The Pistol' hit two centuries, including a 142 in the opening frame, but lost 5-4 after a superb 77 by Lilley in the decider.
It was a high-quality match with breaks of over 60 in all nine frames.
Allen posted on X after the game: "Decent game today but not to be. Great break from Dave in the last. Best of luck to him for the rest of the event. Hong Kong next up for me."
There was also disappointment for fellow Antrim man Jordan Brown, who lost 5-4 to Zak Surety. He led twice early in the match, knocking in a 118 in the opener.
From 2-2 he was chasing the English man, who knocked in three centuries of his own, including the high break of the match - a 132 - in the decider.
Aaron Hill is into the last 32 after battling to a 5-3 victory over Sunny Akani yesterday.
He will face Jimmy Robertson on Tuesday.
