Ireland fell to a three-wicket defeat in their second T20 clash with Zimbabwe in Harare.
The hosts take a 1-0 lead in the 20-over series after the opening game was abandoned due to rain and with the third match set to take place on Tuesday.
After being put into bat first, Ireland were restricted to 137 for eight and although Craig Young took four wickets for 24 runs, Zimbabwe clinched victory with four balls remaining.
A difficult start to the match saw Richard Ngarava dismiss captain Paul Stirling inside the first over, but Ireland fought back through Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector's productive partnership of 53 from 39 balls.
Sikandar Raza found the breakthrough to dismiss Tector and Tucker fell for 46 after being caught by Brian Bennett off Trevor Gwandu.
Following a brief rain delay, Curtis Campher added 26 before being caught off Raza and a collapse in the final five overs was sparked by Gwandu, who struck twice in the 18th to claim the scalps of George Dockrell and Neil Rock.
Young got the visitors off to a bright start in their bowling innings, taking three wickets inside the first four overs as Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wessly Madhevere and Bennett all fell.
Raza and Ryan Burl put on a 48-run partnership before Burl nicked the ball to Tucker off Tector for 27 and Riza shortly fell to Ben White.
Tashinga Musekiwa was Young's fourth scalp of the game, but Zimbabwe managed to get over the line with Tony Munyonga's unbeaten 43 helping his side claim the win.
