China's Yin Ruoning birdied her final hole to claim the Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur by a single shot.
Ruoning had started the final round in a three-way tie for the lead along with Thailand's Jeeno Thitikul and Korea’s Haeran Ryu and she needed her lowest round of the week to prevail.
The winner’s 65 saw her finish on 23-under par, one shot ahead of Thitikul with Ryu a further shot back.
It was her second LPGA win in October having claimed the Buick LPGA Shanghai earlier this month.
Cavan’s Leona Maguire had been eyeing a top-20 finish after successive 68s, but she fell into a tie for 35th after a closing 71 – leaving her on eight-under for the tournament.
