Corofin captured their 23rd Galway SFC title when they ousted Maigh Cuilinn in the final for the second year in a row in difficult conditions at Tuam Stadium.
Veteran Gary Sice sealed the win with their second goal in the closing stages to win his record-equalling 14th Galway SFC medal.
Corofin, playing with the breeze, led by 1-06 to 0-04 at the break and saw it out comfortably.
