Racing at Tramore for New Year's Day has been given the green light following an early morning inspection.
With 26mm of rain overnight, a precautionary inspection deemed the course fit for action with the first race going to post at midday.
The ground remains soft on the Chasers track and soft, soft to heavy in places on the Hurdle track.
The forecast for the remainder of the day is mainly dry and breezy.
Racing also takes place at Fairyhouse. The Wishing Everyone A Healthy 2025 Mares Hurdle is the first race of the day at 12.10pm, with the feature race the Grade 3 Fowler Mares Chase (2.25pm)
