Julie-Ann Russell has been named SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division Player of the Year.
The Galway United ace has enjoyed a remarkable year, including a return to the national team following a four-year absence and winning the Avenir Sports All-Island Cup.
Russell was selected as the Player of the Year ahead of Athlone Town trio Madison Gibson, Roisin Molloy and Laurie Ryan, as well as Shelbourne duo Maggie Pierce (pictured above) and Pearl Slattery.
Ireland Women's Under-19 goalkeeper Katie Keane claimed the Young Player of the Year award following a superb season with champions Athlone, who had Ciarán Kilduff win the Manager of the Year prize.
An event to celebrate the winners was held ahead of tonight's Euro 2025 play-off at Aviva Stadium. The event included honouring Liam Ward and Gordon Ewing for their long service as administrators with Shelbourne as well as former match official Michelle O'Neill, who recently retired.
